This is a very special blanket.  Created for the father of one of my dearest friends who fought and devastatingly lost his battle with cancer.  During this time my friend mentioned he was finding the hospital cold and as any knitter would do, I picked up my needles to make him a toasty blanket.  This pattern is a great project, beautifully textured and an easy stitch to work, so you can whip one up for yourself or a friend in need.
