The Chalfont Scarf is a wonderful "three-season" scarf - able to transition from the autumn right the way through the winter snows and into the cool evenings of early Spring. The scarf has an open, lacy pattern which traps the air and holds the warmth well.
The pattern features a beautifully reversible stitch, Roman Lace, which is one of the few stitches that is truly reversible even when worked in two colours.

Yarn: Webs "Amherst" worsted wt yarn, 100% merino wool, 100m/109 yds : 50gm ball in Cols: A - Autumn Colourway: Col 1: Chocolate x4 (5, 6) balls Col 2: Spice x2 (2, 2) balls B - Spring Colourway Col 3: Regatta Blue x4 (5, 6) balls Col 4: Navy x2 (2, 2) balls C - Winter Colourway: Col 5: Natural x6 (7, 8) balls.
